Funding Deals
Mumbai-headquartered renewable energy company CleanMax Enviro Energy Solutions has raised $360 million in an equity round from Brookfield Renewable through the Brookfield Global Transition Fund (‘BGTF’).
Consumer appliances brand Atomberg has raised $86 million in its Series C funding round led by Temasek and Steadview Capital with participation from Trifecta Capital and existing investors Jungle Ventures and Inflexor Ventures via a mix of primary and secondary transactions.
Capillary Technologies, a loyalty management and customer engagement technology solutions, has announced the closure of its Series D funding round worth $45 million from a consortium of global investors – Avataar Ventures along with its LPs (Pantheon, 57Stars, and Unigestion), Filter Capital, and Innoven Capital.
Homegrown spacetech startup Pixxel has raised $36 million in a series B funding round from new investors such as Google, along with returning investors Radical Ventures, Lightspeed, Blume Ventures, GrowX, Sparta, and Athera.
LaundryMate, an online laundry services startup founded by Bigbasket cofounder Abhinay Choudhary, raised Rs 50 crore ($6.25 million) from Blume Founders Fund and others.
Climate tech startup Newtrace has raised $5.65 million in a seed round led by Sequoia Capital India and Aavishkaar Capital, along with participation from existing investors Speciale Invest and Micelio Fund.
KarmaLife, an earnings-linked financial solutions provider for the gig and blue-collared workforce, has raised Rs 44 crore in an extension to its pre-Series A funding round led by Krishna Bhupal’s family office and existing investor, Artha Venture Fund, amongst others.
