Funding Deals
Enterprise fintech company Zaggle Prepaid Ocean Services has raised Rs 595 crore through a qualified institutional placement, with the state-owned Bank of India emerging as the largest buyer.
EPACK Prefab, a turnkey solution provider for pre-engineered building (PEB), pre-fabricated modular structures, and insulation products, has raised $20 million in its first funding round from GEF Capital Partners, a leading global private equity fund.
B2B seafood startup Captain Fresh has secured Rs 100 crore (approximately $12 million) in funding from Motilal Oswal Wealth Limited.
Retail advisory platform Univest has raised $10 million in a Series A funding round led by Bertelsmann India Investments (BII).
Mindgrove Technologies, a fabless semiconductor design startup, has raised $8 million in a Series A funding round co-led by Rocketship.vc and Speciale Invest. The round also witnessed participation from Mela Ventures and existing investors Peak XV Partners, Nishchay Goel, Whiteboard Capital, and Anshul Goel.
Enterprise SaaS fintech firm HostBookshas raised $5 million from Orange Orbit, with the first tranche of $2.5 million already disbursed. This investment is also a part of a larger $15 million Series B funding round.
Edtech entrepreneur Aakash Chaudhry's Sparkl Edventure has raised $4 million in seed fundraise from Nithin Kamath's RainmatterFoundation and Zomato's Deepinder Goyal.
Direct-to-consumer (D2C) haircare brand Arata has secured $4 million (approximately Rs 34 crore) in a Series A funding round led by Unilever Ventures. BOLD, the venture capital arm of L'Oréal, and existing investor Skywalker Family Office participated.
AI-focused healthtech startup Confido Health has $3 million in its seed round led by Together Fund. The round also saw participation from MedMountain Ventures, Rebellion VC, DeVC, Operators Studio, and strategic healthcare operators.
