Funding Deals
Faasos parent Rebel Foods has topped up its Series F round with $14.5 million.
D2C home gardening brand Ugaoo has raised $2 million in a pre-Series A round led by DSG Consumer Partners and RPG Ventures.
Casual dining chain The Barbeque Company has secured $1.5 million (around Rs 11.1 crore) in its pre-seed funding round from a group of angel investors led by Nitesh Agarwal.
Edtech Startup Toppersnotes has raised $1 million in a seed round led by Inflection Point Ventures along with LetsVenture and other angels.
21K School, an edtech platform, has raised $5 million in a Pre-Series A round led by Ronnie Screwvala, co-founder and chairman of upGrad.
Digiboxx, a startup that provides file storage and sharing or cloud storage services, has raised $1.5 million in a pre-series-A funding round led by Capgro Fund.
ABL Workspaces, a coworking and flexible working space provider, has raised Rs 15 crore in a Series A funding round from Ethik Inc of Canada.
Jade Forest, a direct-to-consumer beverage brand, has raised $1 million in a funding round led by Mumbai Angels Network.
Adda247, an edtech platform, has raised $20 million in a round led by WestBridge Capital.
Ykrita Life Sciences has raised $1.2 million in a seed funding round led by Venture Catalysts. Indian Scientific Innovation Company Limited also participated in this round.
Adonia Hospitality, a seed-stage food-tech startup, has raised upwards of $1 million from Pepperfry founders Ambareesh Murty and Ashish Shah as part of its seed round.
Simpl, a cardless payment network with embedded 1-Tap Checkout, Buy Now Pay Later and Buyer Protection features, has raised a $40 million Series B round led by Valar Ventures & IA Ventures.
EatClub Brands, a cloud kitchen startup, formerly known as BOX8, has raised $40 million from Tiger Global, a New York-based venture capital firm.
Online higher education platform CollegeDekho has closed its Series B funding of $35 million to further improve its offerings for students and colleges.
NxtWave, a Hyderabad-based education technology startup, has raised $2.8 million in a funding round led by Orios Venture Partners and Better Capital.
Early-stage venture capital firm 8i Ventures has launched its second fund under which it seeks to raise $50 million.
E-commerce startup BizzTm has raised $1.2 million in a seed round led by 2am VC, Axilor Ventures, Let’s Venture, IIMI Fund, Qua Capital and Incisive Ventures.
Microfinance.AI, a digital mobile platform for local-language, has raised $200K in its pre-seed funding round led by We Founder Circle.
