Tata Digital to Launch Cosmetics Marketplace💄
Tata Digital is finalizing plans to launch a new ecommerce platform for cosmetics and wellness products, executives at the firm told us. This would put the company in direct competition with several new-age firms such as Nykaa, Purplle and MyGlamm.
The cosmetics platform will be separate from Tata CLiQ and Westside.com, which also sell beauty products, apart from clothes, electronics, household products and more.
The number of people who shop for beauty and personal care products online is expected to grow more than 4x, from 25 million in FY20 to 110 million in FY25.
Kerala builds new 2 lakh sq ft campus in Kochi; eyes 15,000 startups by 2026🏗
Kerala Chief Minister on Saturday inaugurated a new 'Digital Hub' at Technology Innovation Zone in Kochi by the Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM).
The 4 lakh sq. ft. campus including the already functioning Integrated Startup Complex can support 365 start-ups, the state's CM Pinarayi Vijayan claimed.
While inaugurating the Digital Hub, Vijayan said that five years ago, Kerala had 300 start-ups and now they have grown to 3,900--a whopping 13-fold rise in startups. He said the startups have created 35,000 jobs in the state.
The Kerala government is preparing a centralized start-up park system as he visualized that by 2026, the state might see 15,000 additional start-ups.

Tesla to work with global regulators on data security🌐
Tesla will work with global regulators to ensure data security, chief executive Elon Musk told the World New Energy Vehicle Congress in China.
"With the rapid growth of autonomous driving technologies, data security of vehicles is drawing more public concern than ever before," Musk said in a video speech, adding that data security was not only the responsibility of a single company.
China's industry ministry published a notice on Thursday telling companies to step up cyber and data security oversight over connected vehicles, saying that security risks in the industry had become increasingly prominent.
