Swiggy expands 10-minute food delivery service Bolt to over 400 cities
Bengaluru-based Swiggy has expanded its 10-minute food delivery service Bolt to over 400 cities, the company said in a statement on Monday. In its first phase, Bolt was launched in October in Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, New Delhi, Mumbai, and Pune. The massive expansion of the rapid food delivery service by Swiggy comes at a time when startups are increasing their presence in this area.
Qcomm race heats up: Flipkart eyes 10-minute drug delivery
Flipkart Minutes is set to expand its 10-minute prescription medicine deliveries across cities. After going live in Bengaluru in August, the Walmart-owned company is operational in Delhi-NCR and Mumbai and plans to expand to cities like Kolkata, Pune, Hyderabad, and Chennai. The quick commerce race has intensified as Zepto scales its cafe business and startups like Swish raised funds to grow their 10-minute food delivery operations.
Nazara invests Rs 196 Cr in five firms including Funky Monkeys Play
Nazara Technologies Limited, India's premier listed gaming and esports company, has invested Rs 196 crores in four gaming companies. The company acquired a 60% stake in Funky Monkeys Play for Rs 43.7 crore. This investment in Funky Monkeys Play is aimed to expand Nazara’s footprints into physical entertainment. Nazara also invested Rs 4.2 crores in LearnTube.ai, an AI-driven educational platform with over 20 lakh users, to improve gamified learning experiences. The rest of the Rs 148 crore has been allocated to existing subsidiaries, including Nodwin Gaming, Sportskeeda, and Datawrkz at Rs 64 crore, Rs 69 crore and Rs 15 crore, respectively.
Bhavish Aggarwal pledges 1.1% stake in Ola Electric to fund Krutrim AI
Aggarwal has signed a non-disposal undertaking with Axis Trustee Services and Krutrim Data Centre to secure certain debentures being issued by Krutrim, Ola Electric said in a public disclosure.
Funding Deals
Pathway, a data company that builds live AI, has raised $10 million in its seed round led by TQ Ventures, with participation from Kadmos and Id4 Menlo Park, California.
Employee engagement platform AdvantageClub.ai has raised $4 million in its latest funding round led by Axilor Ventures, bringing the company's total funding to $11 million. The round also witnessed participation from AFG Ventures, Prasanna Sarkar, Bytez Ventures, and some of the existing investors.
