Adani Enterprises gets land in Noida for 'one of largest data centres'🏢
Adani Enterprises has acquired 34,275 sq metres of property in Noida for Rs103.41 Cr in order to build a data centre with a total investment plan of Rs2,400 Cr, according to a top Noida authority official.
The Noida data centre is likely to be ‘one of the largest data centres’ in the country, the Adani Group said.
The Noida authorities had allotted close to 2 mn sq ft of industrial land to 13 companies, including Adani, as part of Uttar Pradesh’s strategy to attract investment and employment in the state.
Govt launches instant messaging platform 'Sandes'💬
Clashes with Facebook-owned WhatsApp over end-to-end encryption and New IT Rules accelerated rollout of Sandes app.
Just like WhatsApp, 'Sandes' can be used by any individual with a valid mobile number and an email ID. It is being test-run on govt employees and agencies for now.
According to the app description on the Play Store, Sandes is only hosted on government infrastructure. Its privacy and data policy are governed by the Indian govt's rules and regulations.

Elon Musk's brain-chip firm, Neuralink, has raised $205 Mn in a fundraising round led by Vy Capital and Google Ventures.
Neuralink intends to implant wireless brain-computer chips to aid in the treatment of neurological conditions such as Alzheimer's, dementia, spinal cord injuries, and fuse humanity with artificial intelligence.
Neuralink, which was co-founded by Musk in 2016, will use the capital to promote its first product, N1 Link, as well as for research and development.
