Ola Ropes In Citigroup & Kotak Mahindra To Manage Its $1 Bn IPO💸
Ola has chosen Citigroup, Morgan Stanley, and Kotak Investment Banking to manage its initial public offering (IPO), Bloomberg reported today, citing people familiar with the matter.
Ola is said to be seeking a valuation of more than $8 Bn in the IPO.
Ola currently partners with about 1.5 million drivers across 250 cities in India, Australia, New Zealand and the U.K.
A fortnight ago, the company unveiled its S1 and S1 Pro electric scooters, which undercut rival offerings from Ather Energy, Bajaj Auto, and TVS Motors on price while promising greater range and higher performance.
The 11-year-old Ola would be joining a strong pipeline of Indian startups that are ready to tap the IPO market in the coming months.

PhonePe is India's leading digital payments platform with over 300 million registered users. It facilitated 1.4 billion UPI transactions in July, giving it a 46% market share.
