Nvidia on Monday unveiled an AI-powered software platform that allows research into 6G technology through simulating communications environments in the cloud. Software and AI are increasingly deployed across the telecom sector, including in RAN (radio access network) hardware like base stations and antennas.
Zomato ‘Pure veg mode’: CEO Deepinder Goyal rolls back ‘green' fleet after backlash
Food delivery platform Zomato has received both praise and criticism as the company on Tuesday came up with a new kind of service, catering only the pure vegetarian customers. CEO Goyal on Wednesday wrote on the X platform, " All our riders — both our regular fleet and our fleet for vegetarians, will wear the colour red".
B Capital closes second Opportunities fund at $750 million
Global investment firm B Capital, which has backed the likes of Byju’s, Meesho, and PharmEasy in India has closed its second Opportunities fund at $750 million. Through B Capital Opportunities Fund II, the entity will make primary and secondary follow-on investments in late-stage portfolio companies across core sectors of technology, healthcare, and climate tech.
Govt spots missing bits in HCL, Foxconn chip JV, seeks details
HCL Group and Foxconn's joint venture for a chip assembly unit has hit a speed bump. The government has found their application for the unit unsatisfactory and has sought more details. The application is being considered for incentives under the Indian Semiconductor Mission.

Engrail Therapeutics, a clinical-stage company developing therapies against central nervous system (CNS) disorders has raised $157 million in Series B financing round co-led by healthcare-focused venture capital firms F-Prime Capital, Forbion, and growth equity investor Norwest Venture Partners.
Data collaboration software provider Atlan has raised $6.5 million from WaterBridge Ventures.
Gaming startup Liquidnitro Games has raised $5.25 million in its seed round led by Nexus Venture Partners, with participation from angel investors from the US, Canada, EU, and India.
Boutique hotels Brij Hotels has picked up $4 million in Series A round co-led by the Manipal Education & Medical Group (MEMG) Family Office. High net-worth individual investors including Abhay Jain, Bain Capital MD Abhiroop Jayanthi, Rajendra Rao, and Prashant Deshpande also joined the company’s new financing.
Bengaluru-based Relso has raised $840,000 in a pre-seed round co-led by Ventures Catalysts and Inflection Point Ventures. Investors such as Ramakant Sharma (Livspace founder and Global COO), Shantanu Deshpande (Bombay Shaving Co-founder), and Saurabh Jain (Livspace India CEO) also joined the round.
