Meta plans first data centre in India to meet growing demand for Reels
The social networking giant Meta Platforms is contemplating setting up its first data centre in India to meet the growing demand for its short video feature Reels in the world’s second-largest internet market.

Wipro picks minority stake in SDVerse with nearly $6-million investment
IT services and consulting major Wipro said on Tuesday it has invested $5.85 million (Rs 48.5 crore) to acquire a 27% stake in SDVerse, an automotive software marketplace, along with General Motors (GM) and Magna.
Accenture to acquire Udacity in upskilling push
Accenture will acquire California-headquartered edtech platform, Udacity, for an undisclosed sum. The move is part of Accenture's broader initiative to invest $1 billion over three years in enhancing upskilling opportunities for its clients.

Identity verification startup IDfy has raised $27 million in a mix of primary and secondary fundraise from Elev8, KB Investment, and Tenacity Ventures.
Social media startup Hunch has raised $26 million in a funding round led by Alpha Wave and Hashed Emergent.
Rural commerce startup Rozana has raised $22.5 million led by Bertelsmann India Investments (BII) with participation from Fireside Ventures and existing investors.
B2B construction tech startup BRKZ has raised $8 million in its Series A round co-led by 9900 and BECO Capital, with participation from Aramco’s Wa’ed Ventures, Knollwood Investment Advisory, RZM Investment and MISY Ventures.
Sales enablement platform Louisa AI has picked up $5 million in its maiden funding round co-led by Oxford University’s investment arms, Palm Drive VC, Evolution VC, Nucleus VC, Gaingels along with the participation of ex-Goldman Sachs partners, US-based venture capitalist Sandiip Bhammer, and others.
