India is set to launch the advanced geo-imaging satellite Gisat-1🛰
Three days prior to the 75th Independence Day celebrations, India will launch its most advanced geo-imaging satellite - Gisat-1.
This satellite will allow the government to better monitor the country's borders, especially with Pakistan and China, by imaging the sub-continent 3-4 times daily.
The COVID-19 pandemic has delayed the launch of Gisat-1 multiple times this year, but the satellite will finally begin its ascent from Sriharikota spaceport on August 12 at 5:43 am, IANS reported.
ISRO's GSLV-F10 rocket will carry the 2,268-kg Gisat-1 into Earth's geo-orbit. The code name of Gisat-1 is EOS-3.
Buzz in the IPO market continues🔥
The buzz in the IPO market continues with four companies launching their initial share sales this week to raise over Rs 14,628 crore collectively.
This comes after four companies launched their initial share sales last week to mobilize Rs 3,614 crore.
CarTrade Tech and Nuvoco Vistas Corporation issues will be available for subscription between August 9 and 11, while Chemplast Sanmar and Aptus Value Housing Finance India issues will be available between August 10 and 12.
So far in the current fiscal, 16 companies have raised Rs 30,666 cr through IPOs, against Rs 31,277 cr by 30 firms in the entire 2020-21.
