India may become Canva’s biggest market in 3-5 years: Cofounder Cameron Adams
India could become Australian design software Canva’s biggest market in another three to five years, its cofounder and chief product officer Cameron Adams said. India has emerged as Canva’s fourth-largest market and trails the US, Brazil, and Indonesia. In India, Canva is aiming for growth in users and revenue by releasing more localised offerings and increasing its focus on enterprise customers. This aligns with its global strategy.
Nazara Technologies’ Q3 net profit drops 53%
Online gaming company Nazara Technologies reported a 53% year-on-year (YoY) fall in net profit to Rs 13.6 crore for the third quarter of fiscal year 2025 (Q3FY25) despite strong revenue growth.
Imagicaaworld to raise ₹345 crore for new water park, solar plant acquisition
The board of Imagicaaworld Entertainment Ltd, an amusement and water park operator owned by Maharashtra-based Malpani Group, has approved a proposal to raise ₹345 crore through a preferential issue of a mix of equity and warrants at ₹73.50 apiece. The company will use the proceeds to acquire a new water park in Indore, an operational solar power plant, and for the upkeep of Wet’n Joy parks.
Nikhil Kamath announces second cohort of WTFund
WTFund, an initiative for entrepreneurs under 25, led by investor and entrepreneur Nikhil Kamath, has unveiled its second cohort, featuring 22 founders. WTFund provides up to Rs 20 lakh in grant funding, along with mentorship and strategic partnerships, to help startups scale their impact. By democratizing access to opportunities, WTFund has positioned itself as a launchpad for first-time founders, fostering a culture of innovation, resilience, and learning.

Startup EnCharge AI raised more than $100 million in a Series B funding round led by Tiger Global to bring more efficient and less expensive AI chips to the market.
Raincheck Earth Co., the maker of alcoholic beverage startup Cherrapunji Craft Gin, has raised $1.2 Mn in pre-Series A round from Japanese investors. The round also saw participation from AngelList India Syndicate, who doubled down on their previous investments.
