Go Digit IPO Day 1: Retail portion fully subscribed
Go Digit General Insurance’s initial public offering (IPO), which opened on Wednesday for Rs 2,615 crore, witnessed strong investor interest, with the retail portion of the issue being fully subscribed. The issue is priced between Rs 258 and Rs 272 per share and will close on Friday.
Uber gets the nod to run bus service in NCR
Uber is set to start plying buses in Delhi with the ride-hailing platform getting a licence from the transport department to run bus services in the national capital. Currently, Uber Shuttle is operating in Kolkata under an MoU with the West Bengal government.

Share of quick commerce in online FMCG sales rises to 35% in FY24
Leading consumer goods companies in India like Hindustan Unilever, Dabur, Adani Wilmar, and Parle Products, witnessed a surge in online sales through quick-commerce platforms, nearly doubling in FY24 to 35% from 15-18% in FY23. Sales growth through ecommerce for FMCG companies has been two to three times more than that of modern trade.

Matel, which makes components like power trains and motor control units for electric vehicles (EV) among other things, has raised $4 million in a funding round led by clean energy-focused venture fund Transition Venture Capital.
DrinkPrime, a subscription-based reverse osmosis (RO) water-supplying startup, has raised $3 million led by SIDBI Venture Capital Ltd. (SVCL), an investment management company and a wholly owned subsidiary of SIDBI.
Sportstech startup Stupa Sports Analytics has raised Rs 28 crore in its pre-Series A round led by Centre Court Capital and PeerCapital.
Infurnia, a cloud-native architecture design software startup, has raised $1.2 million in an angel round led by Yogesh Chaudhary, an existing investor and owner of Jaipur Rugs.
Sprect, a C2C consulting marketplace, has raised Rs 50 lakh in angel round from Siddarth (Sid) Shetty, chief business development officer at ServiceChannel.
