Sports-focussed Centre Court Capital launches maiden Rs 350-crore fund
Centre Court Capital, a gaming and sports-focussed venture firm, has launched its maiden Rs 350 crore fund. The firm said it has received Rs 200 crore in commitments from its limited partners (LPs), with the family trust of JSW Steel managing director Sajjan Jindal acting as the anchor investor.
Quick-commerce platform Blinkit to sell PlayStation 5
Zomato-owned quick-commerce platform Blinkit on Thursday said it will be selling PlayStation 5 on the platform. Japanese electronics brand Sony will launch PlayStation 5 Slim in India on April 5. It was launched in the US in November 2023.
RBI allows UPI payments at CDMs for cash deposits, says Governor
In its first bi-monthly committee meeting for FY24–25, Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Governor Shanktikanta Das on Friday proposed to permit 3rd party UPI apps to make payments and cash deposits at Cash Deposit Machines (CDMs) using UPI (Unified Payments Interface).
Abu Dhabi’s 3AI, SML to jointly own Hanooman
Abu Dhabi-based artificial intelligence (AI) investment firm 3AI Holding has partnered with Seetha Mahalaxmi Healthcare (SML) to jointly own 'Hanooman,' the multilingual generative AI platform developed by SML in collaboration with IIT Bombay. Under this joint ownership, both parties will hold a 50% stake in Hanooman.

Nivara Home Finance has raised $10 million from Baring Private Equity India in a primary funding round.
Curelo, a health-tech platform has secured a strategic investment from Shreyas Iyer. The entire round consists of Rs 10 crore where apart from Shreyas Iyer, the company got investments from IIMA Ventures, industry experts like Tarun Katial (Founder of Zee 5) and family offices in US.
Sportstech platform Hudle has raised Rs 7 crore in its pre-Series A round led by Inflection Point Ventures and Sky Impact Capital.
