Ather files draft IPO papers to raise Rs 3,100 crore
Ather Energy has filed draft papers for its initial public offering, through which the electric two-wheeler maker plans to raise Rs 3,100 crore in fresh capital and conduct an offer for sale (OFS) of 22 million shares. Ather's bigger rival Ola Electric listed on the bourses a month ago.

Apple held its eagerly anticipated annual hardware event, unveiling the latest additions to its product lineup. The spotlight was on the new iPhone 16 series, which includes the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max. This highly celebrated tech event also showcased the launch of the AirPods 4, the Apple Watch Series 10, and an updated variant of the Apple Watch Ultra 2.
IBV and FedTech unveil Indo-US launchpad to boost Indian startups
Indusbridge Ventures (IBV), a defense technology-focused company, has joined forces with US-based deep-tech venture builder FedTech to introduce the ‘I2A Launchpad’ program. This new initiative, called the India to America (I2A) program, aims to support Indian dual-use startups.
BlackRock Advisors Singapore and Jio Financial form India advisory JV; pledges ₹3 crore for initial subscription
BlackRock Advisors Singapore Pte. Ltd. and Jio Financial Services have formed a joint venture to launch a company named Jio BlackRock Investment Advisers Private Limited on September 6 to carry out the primary investment advisory business in the country, according to a Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) filing on Sunday, September 8. Jio Financial Services Ltd shares closed 2.45 percent lower at ₹336.90 after Friday's market close, compared to ₹345.35 on the previous day.
Funding Deals
Energy storage solutions startup Clean Electric has raised $6 million in a funding round co-led by Info Edge Ventures, Pi Ventures, and Kalaari Capital. Lok Capital and other investors also participated in the round.
Bio-tech company Transcell Biologics has raised an undisclosed amount of investment from Boston-based Quantiphi and IAN Group.
