Funding Deals
Travel fintech firm Scapia has raised $9 million in a seed round led by Matrix Partners India, with participation from Tanglin Venture Partners, Binny Bansal’s 3STATE Ventures and notable angel investors such as Keki Mistry (CEO, HDFC Ltd).
Koskii, the Bengaluru-based women’s occasion-wear brand, has raised Rs 61 crore in a Series A round of funding led by Baring Private Equity Partners India.
Same-day delivery platform Zippee has raised $1.6 million in a new funding round from New Delhi-based Haldiram Products Pvt Ltd., apart from angel investors—Ashneer Grover (BharatPe), Kunal Shah (CRED), Peyush Bansal (Lenskart), Prashant Pitti (EaseMyTrip), Aakash Anand (Bella Vita Organic). The round also saw the participation of venture capital firms like FounderBank Capital, PiperSerica, and Misfits Fund.
Qlan, a social networking app designed for gamers and e-sports enthusiasts, has raised a pre-seed round of $200K from Marwah Sports, Faad Network Limited and CIIE.CO
London-headquartered smartphone company Nothing has secured $96 million in a fundraising round led by Highland Europe.
