Elon Musk bags $7.1 billion Twitter funding from Binance, Sequoia and others💵
Elon Musk has secured about $7.1 billion of new financing commitments, including from billionaire Larry Ellison, a Saudi Prince, and Sequoia Capital, to help fund his proposed $44 billion takeover of Twitter Inc.
The equity commitments from 19 investors come as the Tesla Inc. billionaire marshals capital to bankroll one of the biggest tech industry takeovers.
Musk has also won the support of fellow entrepreneur and Oracle cofounder Larry Ellison, who has a big stake in Tesla and a seat on its board. Ellison’s trust has committed $1 billion to finance Musk’s takeover.
The Tesla chief executive has tweeted that the platform should not have ads so it can have more control over its content moderation policies.
Mobile Premier League launches Mayhem Studios to develop big-budget games🎮
Esports and skill gaming startup Mobile Premier League (MPL) has launched a gaming studio called Mayhem Studios to develop 'AAA mobile games' for domestic and global markets.
AAA Games are typically video game titles that have big budgets for both development and marketing purposes.
The Mayhem Studios will have a team of top-notch professionals in the area of animation, art, cinematics, design, engineering, UI and UX game design and game production, the company said.
Mayhem Studio will operate as a subsidiary of MPL and will be headquartered in Bengaluru and will be helmed by Ojas Vipat as CEO.

Byju's to invest $200 million to expand hybrid tuition model👨🏻🏫
India's largest ed-tech company, Byju's is planning to invest a whopping $200 million to expand and build its hybrid tuition business. The infusion will take place over the next two years.
The company's Tuition Centre programme is for students that bring together the best of offline and online learning experiences.
Head of Byju's Tuition Centres, Himanshu Bajaj said, "We have now 100 centres in 23 cities but by December we will have 500 centres across 190 cities. The next year's expansion plan is not yet frozen," reported the PTI.
Bajaj stated that they plan to enroll some 2.5 to 3 lakh students in the hybrid tuition model in the near distant future.
