Reliance Jio launches 5G services in 11 cities as 'New Year' gift🗼
Reliance Jio on 28 December announced that it has launched the largest launch of its 5G services across 11 cities.
The cities where 5G services are launched include -- Lucknow, Trivandrum, Mysuru, Nashik, Aurangabad, Chandigarh, Mohali, Panchkula, Zirakpur, Kharar, and Derabassi.
Jio users in these cities will be invited to the Jio Welcome Offer, to experience Unlimited Data at up to 1 Gbps speeds, at no additional cost, starting Wednesday.
These cities are important tourism destinations and key education hubs of our country.
Ola sells 1.5 lakh electric scooters in 2022🛵
In a year that saw Ola Electric face criticism on a range of issues, the electric vehicle (EV) manufacturing arm of the ride-hailing platform sold nearly 1.5 lakh EVs in 2022, having launched its first electric two-wheeler last year.
Ola is set to launch more electric two-wheelers including a mass-market scooter, premium motorcycle, and a mass motorcycle, in the next couple of years, co-founder and chief executive officer Bhavish Aggarwal said.
Additionally, Ola aims to launch about six electric four-wheelers by 2027, after its first four-wheeler‘s launch, expected in 2024.

India sees record M&As in 2022 at $152 billion🤝🏻
India saw a record level of mergers and acquisitions in 2022, as companies sought to consolidate positions, and enter new segments, leading to some of the largest-ever transactions in sectors such as banking, cement and aviation.
The total value of M&A deals in India stood at $152 billion in 2022 (year-to-date) compared to $107 billion in 2021, according to Sonia Dasgupta, managing director at JM Financial.
India has defied the global downward trends in M&A by registering record deals in 2022 since 2018. In 2018, M&A deals were worth $95 billion; in 2019 it was at $60 billion, and in 2020, it was $20.76 billion, JM Financial said.
