Google in talks to partner with ONDC, following Amazon, Reliance and Flipkart🛒
Google is in active discussions with the government-backed Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC) and is “exploring” ways to partner with the ambitious initiative.
The network, which aims to democratise ecommerce by bringing more kiranas and unorganised retailers online, was launched as a pilot earlier this month in Bengaluru and four other cities. It is expected to be available in 100 cities countrywide by August.
We reported on May 12 that ecommerce majors including Flipkart, Reliance Retail and Amazon were in talks to join ONDC.
Google Pay’s two main competitors – Flipkart-owned PhonePe and Paytm – have already begun to integrate their services with ONDC.
Myntra introduces ‘M-Express’, under 48-hour delivery service👗
Online fashion retailer Myntra has introduced an express delivery service that will give shoppers their orders within 24-48 hours of purchase.
The 'M-Express' service will deliver to more than 1,300 pin codes and it is unique for any fashion and beauty platform, Myntra said in a statement. It will allow speed-sensitive customers to easily search for M-Express products through delivery time filters and also visually identify such products with the help of M-Express tags.
M-Express has currently been rolled out in metros across about 30 percent of the styles available on Myntra. It will expand to tier 2 and 3 cities, as well as launch the web version of the feature in the coming months.
