Flipkart acquires D2C SaaS platform ANS Commerceπ€π»
Walmart-owned e-tailer Flipkart has acquired direct-to-consumer (D2C) Software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform ANS Commerce for an undisclosed sum.
Founded in 2017, ANS provides various services to companies and brands looking to sell online. These include services that help brands set up digital storefronts, integration with marketplaces like Flipkart and Amazon, and warehousing and facilities maintenance services.
After brands started using ANSβs services, they were able to improve their return on advertisements spent on e-commerce platforms, and in managing logistics and warehousing better, Flipkart said.
CoinDCX raises $135 million, doubles valuation to $2.15 billionπ°
Crypto trading exchange CoinDCX has raised $135.9 million (about Rs 1,000 crore) from investors led by Pantera Capital and Steadview Capital, doubling its valuation to $2.15 billion in less than a year to become the most valued crypto trading platform in India.
The funding comes in the backdrop of crypto exchanges facing newly introduced taxation rules in India. CoinDCX and its peers, like WazirX and CoinSwitch Kuber, have seen their volumes plummet to new lows this month due to restricted access to modes of depositing money for users.
CoinDCX, founded in 2018 by Sumit Gupta and Neeraj Khandelwal, helps people buy and sell crypto tokens. It also offers other crypto-based financial products such as lending.

Headfone, an audio OTT platform, has raised $10 million in its Series B funding round led by Elevation Capital.
Buy Now Pay Later platform for healthcare, SaveIN, has raised $4 million in seed funding round from Y-Combinator, 10X Group, Leonis VC, Goodwater Capital, and others.
Blue-collar recruitment startup WorkIndia, has received $1.5 million in venture debt funding from BlackSoil.
Anushka Sharma backs Slurrp Farm maker as investor and brand ambassadorπ²
Bollywood actor Anushka Sharma has joined Wholsum Foods as investor, brand ambassador and advocate for the companyβs flagship brand Slurrp Farm.
Sharma will also play the role of an advocate and endorse future brands launched by the Gurugram-headquartered company.
Wholsum Foods was founded in 2016 with the launch of Slurrp Farm, a millet-based snacking and meal brand for young children. The company has been co-founded by Meghana Narayan and Shauravi Malik.
Sharma who has been actively investing in a clutch of startups said sustainable food choices go a long way in setting the tone for a healthy life.
