Garuda Aerospace eyes plantation of 75,000 seeds🪴
Drone start-up Garuda Aerospace will plant 75,000 seeds in commemoration of the country's 75 years of independence, the company said. Commemorating World Environment Day observed on June 5, Garuda Aerospace would begin the nationwide drone seed planting drive.
The company's 'Vriksh Vaahan' drone launched recently would be utilised for the purpose. The drone would be an easy way to increase efficiency towards increasing plant production while reducing environmental damage, it said.
"The 'Vriksh Vaahan' drones will spray seeds directly over fields on the desired spot with the help of GPS coordinates", it said.
SBI Foundation partners Khan Academy for digital learning program UpSchool📖
SBI Foundation has introduced UpSchool, a digital learning program for students from class 1-10 in partnership with Khan Academy, an educational non-profit.
The program will be available in English, Hindi and Kannada languages aiming to reduce learning gaps and build a solid foundation in maths and reading for their current academic year. Every student will receive a digital certificate at completing the program.
Recently, SBI Foundation and Khan Academy partnered to localize high quality maths learning content so that students can learn in their preferred language.

Instagram looks to turn up the beat via ‘1 Minute Music’ for Reels🎵
Instagram has launched a music property called '1 Minute Music' — a set of music tracks and videos exclusively available on its platform for use on Reels and Stories.
The initiative is being rolled out in India first and comes after Meta-owned Instagram launched Reels first in India and then scaled it up globally. It will include music from 200 artists covering the length and breadth of the country.
"India watches music," said Paras Sharma, director (content & community partnerships) at Facebook India, Meta’s local unit. "There's a very strong visual element of how Indians consume music. Our music entry point is through a visual element. That's the core,” he told.
The ‘1 Minute Music’ will be available for people to use within the Reels audio gallery and include established as well as emerging artists.
